Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu

Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu (/graˈgrurp/ /læ̝rg/ [complex] [hawk]) is a temperate Town located in the Trērgslij Principality of the City-state of Nika.

The name Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu is derived from the Gnollish language, as Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu was founded by Thugguhz vyim Mɑnkfilf, who was culturaly Gnollish.

Climate

Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu has a yearly average temperature of 2°C (35°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a cool 13°C (55°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a freezing -8°C (18°F). Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu receives an average of 232 cm/y (91 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu covers an area of nearly 5 km² (2 mi²), and an average elevation of 3564 m (11692 ft) above sea level.

Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu was founded durring the late 14th century in spring of the year 1266, by Thugguhz vyim Mɑnkfilf. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu is buildings are speckled and packed arround premissive cobblestone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu's timber-based walls are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

A look around Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.

Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known primarily for its use of abstraction and simplicity. Clean lines, right angles, and primary colors characterized this aesthetic and art movement expressed via architecture and paintings. Its design ethos allows only primary colors and non-colors, only squares and rectangles, only straight and horizontal or vertical lines. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements. These seemingly impossible principals for an architectural style coalesces into structures which most experts find hard to put into words. It is not that their geometry is impossible, but rather the style's attempt at producing works only describable visually was most successful..

The Thorn Dog near Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Uhoti-lērg Rudnoplu's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves performance art to channel Chronomancy energies of tier 1 via proclamations.
